How it is calculated
FINDRISC adds points from eight everyday factors: age, BMI, waist, activity, diet, BP medication, history of high glucose and family history.
A score of 12 or more means your risk is meaningful enough to act now. Most of these factors are modifiable.

Is FINDRISC a diagnosis?
No, it is a risk estimate. A high score means you should check HOMA-IR, fasting glucose and HbA1c.
